Yerbo is a mental health platform designed to measure and reduce burnout in tech teams.


A key growth opportunity for the product was enabling organic expansion within companies—starting with one team and growing across the organization. To support this, we needed a way for team leads and HR managers to easily onboard new users and structure teams.


We designed a feature that allowed team leads or HR to quickly recreate their org chart within the platform. This made it simple to set up teams, define reporting lines, and enroll new members.


The solution:

  • Mirrored organizational hierarchies in a visual, drag-and-drop interface

  • Allowed both top-down (HR) and bottom-up (team lead) setup flows

  • Simplified team creation while ensuring accurate dependencies


We ran quick research cycles with users from different companies to validate the concept, iterating through lightweight prototypes until the experience felt intuitive and scalable.


This feature became a key entry point for user acquisition, helping Yerbo grow inside client organizations.
